Friendship Friday Birthday Cards

Hello there!  Did you know, one of the biggest blessings of having a birthday is hearing from all your far-flung friends and receiving some very beautiful birthday cards.  I've had these gorgeous cards sitting out on my dining room table for several weeks now enjoying them every time I look at them.  It seemed important to me to share all this talent and loveliness with all of you.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

created by Jean Mazurek - this is just so pretty in person.  The plummy sequins and butterfly are perfect accents for this lovely card.

created by Shirley Krone - all I can say is "wow".  I'd forgotten about the fence and gate die in Grace's Garden set.  This is so fabulous with this scenic DSP she chose.

created by Sue Fabris - this is just shouting spring to me.  Love the Pool Party and yellows together.  Pretty, pretty!

created by Jan Hollmann - don't you love the black & white with that deep Mossy Meadow as an accent?  It goes great with the black & white checked DSP.  Very serene card.

created by Barb Eisenman - awesome fun fold card!  Even my grandsons were trying to see how to fold it so it would fit into the envelope.

I just had to add an extra picture so you could see the angles on this.  Very cool.

Maybe I can get the measurements from this card and try constructing one of these myself!

created by Connie Juengel - like I said earlier, I love the Pool Party and yellows together.  This card also has those gold mesh leaves from Christmas time as an accent.  Great idea.

created by Kathy Hintz - love these cards made with the Heart Shaped stamps and dies paired with the Painted Lavender DSP.  Nice accent using the Spotlight on Nature dies.  So very pretty!

created by Diane Walace - another simply gorgeous card by Diane.  It's a fun fold that really shows off the DSP she used.  Add in the "stuffed" butterflies she makes, and it's a total wow card.

Just needed another photo of this gorgeous card for you.  I think you can see the fun fold design.  (I did a post on April 2, 2025 that used this fun fold idea if you want to get a handle on how it was made.)

It was a struggle trying to take photos of the two fun fold cards where you could actually see the folds clearly.  The sun was shining like crazy and was giving me so many shadows.  But I think you get the idea.

So many beautiful cards and so many sweet wishes from my friends.  They really made my birthday very special.  Thank you, ladies, so very much for remembering my birthday with these lovely cards.

And thank you for visiting today.  Hope you enjoyed this gallery of cards made by some very talented ladies.

Remember to keep stamping as it is a great form of therapy that makes you feel wonderfully creative.  And when you send the card, you make someone else feel special too!

Happy stamping and creating,
Sharon

Friendship Friday - Valentine Cards

Hello, hello!  And happy Valentine's Day to you all!  It's a beautiful and sunshiny day here.  Of course, it's only 35 degrees.  So that means it's a perfect day if you're staying inside and looking out a window.  😉 That's my take on it.  You might not agree and that's ok too.  Since this is a Friday and it is Valentine's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to share the lovely Valentine cards I received in the mail as of this morning.  There is a wide range of styles that reflect each person that made them.  And I appreciate each and every one.

created by Diane Wallace
In case you can't tell, the hearts and butterflies are die-cut from Red Velvet Paper.  So gorgeous!
Thanks for all the Bible verses you wrote on the back showcasing true love!

created by Shirley Krone
I love all the different embossing that highlighted the design.  And miss that cardstock color!
Thanks for the lovely letter too!!

created by Jean Mazurek
At first, I was taken aback by the snowflakes.  Then I realized with all the snow you were getting in Michigan; it was the perfect backdrop!  Great creating "out of the box".

created by Jan Hollmann
Just love this background of die-cut hearts!  And the die-cut love and larger heart are the perfect additions.  So modern and fun!

created by Sue Fabris
Love that 'lacy' looking layer behind the hearts.  Perfect touch to the bold hearts.  This is so pretty.

created by Barb Eisenman
This fun fold card is so unique and lovely.   All the gold foil paper, gold embossing and the die-cuts on the inside make it so special.

created by Connie Juengel
This card is unusual because of the size.  It's 8 1/2" x 3 1/2".  What a fun size and it fits those three hearts across the front panel just right.

Thank you to all of you that sent cards to me at this time of year.  I sent out so many myself that it's a treat getting something in the mail too.  You all are an absolute blessing from God to me!

Sending all my love and many hugs,
Sharon

Another Friendship Friday

Hello Friends!  What?   You say it's not Friday?  You are absolutely correct.  I was having issues with my computer yesterday and couldn't get these two cards posted.  It's bad enough that these cards were posted a day late, but they missed out being on the last post too.  One of the cards came the next day in the mail, and the other card was sitting in another room so I could enjoy looking at it.  It's so simple, but such a cool design.  It just makes me happy when I look at it.  So of course, I need to share it with you all.  A little late, but so worth the wait!

created by Barb Eisenman
Isn't this just the happiest card?  I love it.  All the birds are fussy cut from the Flight & Airy DSP.  They look like they are sitting on a wire which is made from baker's twine.  Add the layering, sentiment, and spattering and it's done.  Wonderful!

created by Jean Mazurek
Another simple card, but what a WOW factor.  The die-cut layer is backed with gold foil.  The sentiment is also backed with a layer of gold foil.  Add ribbon and a few gems and you have a super WOW card!  Thanks for the postage stamps too, Jean.  You know I'll use them!  It's much appreciated.

I need to make a wedding card soon.  This design would be an excellent choice.  Just need to change the sentiment and keep everything else the same.  Gorgeous.

Okay, that's all the cards I have to share today.  Hope you enjoyed these two fabulous card ideas.  Have they inspired you to get out your stamps and create?  Hope so!  And many thanks to you wonderful ladies for the 'happy mail' you send.

Happy stamping and creating,
Sharon

Friendship Friday Cards

Hello friends!  It's been just about three months since I posted all the lovely cards I've received from my wonderful friends.  There are cards from Mother's Day, birthday, 4th of July, and anniversary along with the normal thinking of you style cards.  I can't tell you how much it brightens my day when we walk to the mailbox and find these treasures lurking inside.  You ladies are truly talented, and I thank you for sharing the smiles and happiness with us.  There are other cards (store bought) that have also shown up here, but I didn't think you'd really be interested in seeing those.  So here we go.  Hope you enjoy sharing all these paper hugs from my wonderful family and friends.

Friendship Friday Again

Hello friends!  I keep forgetting to make the Friendship Friday post on Fridays.  Seems like my sense of days has totally flown out the window this summer.  Guess that means I've been busy and that's a great thing.  Because it's been a while since I made one of these posts, there are quite a few cards to share with you.  Grab a coffee (or your favorite beverage, wine maybe?) and let's peruse this stack of cards.  Hope you find your card in here and also enjoy the fabulous selection of cards that have been sent to me!  These cards are not in any order, just how I picked them up.  Some are totally Stampin'Up!.  Others not so much.  Some are using all current products, but there are many of my favorite retired products too!  Enjoy!

This card needed a second picture so you could see all of it.  Lovely!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the diversity of these cards.  I think it's amazing the beautiful cards all of you ladies make and share with me!  I can't explain how much it blesses my day when one of these cards come in the mail with a fun note to let me know what you're doing.  It's almost as good as sitting down with you for a chat while we're stamping.  Your cards seem to show up in my mailbox at just the right time when needed the most.  I can't thank you all enough for your love and caring!  It blesses me thoroughly!

Happy stamping and creating!

This isn't a birthday card, but it came during that time frame , so I figured why not add it?

There you have an overview of the wonderful cards that have been showing up in my mailbox.  They are all beautiful and I treasure the time and effort each of you ladies put into making them.  Thank you all (including the store-bought cards that came too) for making this birthday a special day.

Hope you enjoyed the peek at all this creativity.  You ladies are wonderful!

Keep stamping and creating!
